Celebrating Milestones During Quarantine
A child’s first birthday is one of the most exciting milestones that a parent can experience. My husband and I planned to have a huge party celebrating my baby girl Zuri’s first birthday! I was extremely excited to have my event planner Kashmere Productions create an experience to cherish forever.
Although we are currently experiencing quarantine due to Covid-19, it was in the best interest of our family and friends to cancel the birthday party. Instead, we decided to keep it simple with a memorable photoshoot, personalized cake, and family time. Be sure to check out the photos from her first shoot! As always, I had to put my creative thinking cap on to execute my vision! I pictured a classy and fashionable shoot so adding the black props definitely brought it to life. The mini Neiman Marcus piano and chandelier were items I already had at home. Wrapping a few boxes with classy paper and adding balloons around the area created the perfect birthday shoot setup.
Lastly, her Z shape cake made of macaroons and roses was the cutest idea for an at home cake smash. Let’s just say baby Zuri did allow her sisters to taste a piece before she had her fun! What do you guys think? I still can’t get over how adorable all the photos turned out!!! Mommy will definitely blow them up and frame around the house!
