NEW YEAR NEW BEGINNING: ENTERING 2020 WITH A POSITIVE MINDSET

“God will put you in positions you didn’t even apply for”

So many life changes can occur in a year let alone an entire decade. I’ve seen people do the 10 year challenge on social media so I decided to add my two sense in. So much has evolved from 2009 until now in my personal and professional life. From being single to randomly meeting my husband in the mall, from being an only child with no baby experience to having dozens of kids back to back (ok I’m exaggerating a bit but you get the point), from working in corporate America to taking a leap of faith and creating several businesses of my own! It seems as if society’s unwritten rules and expectations pressure so many of us to live our life in a specific order. It was actually a point in my life where I didn’t really consider marriage and children at all, I was just spending time getting to know myself, experiencing life and having fun in the process. To this day, I still don’t regret any of it.

Keep Pushing

Through the success and struggles, sometimes it becomes human nature to doubt your own journey especially when comparing to other people surrounding you. Often times things don’t happen quickly enough and it becomes second nature to doubt your purpose in life. During moments such as this, take a step back and realize that what you may see on social media or your surrounding often times is an edited version (in some cases heavily edited version) of ones reality. Even hard times has a new beginning that follows after. Speak it into existence. Focus on what’s important and continue to navigate through life at your own pace, regardless of what people say or expect. Realizing that you are doing your best will bring you inner peace to open your heart and receive all the positive vibes coming your way!

You Were Meant for This

In this next decade, always put your mental health first while continuing to grow spiritually. Educate yourself on things you’re passionate about and aim to become the best version that you can be. You don’t have to rush the process just because of society’s unrealistic expectations. Once you’ve accomplished that, your mind body and soul will be ready to receive all the blessings that was meant for you all along. What are some personal goals that you’ve set for yourself in 2020?

May 2020 be your best year yet

So tip your glasses of champagne up (I’ll be sipping on fresh water lol), and let’s make this another year to remember! Sending love, clarity, breakthroughs, awareness, insight, abundance and continued success to you all! Happy New Year!
